The Americans loved Reagan. The liberals hated him. Still do, apparently.

Long before there was “Trump Derangement Syndrome” or “Bush Derangement Syndrome”, there was “Reagan Derangement Syndrome” ... we just didn’t call it that.

Heck, before there was RDS, there was Nixon Derangement Syndrome (again, without the name). Leftists are just plain deranged.

Mission was successful. Reagan believed getting Americans back was worth the political hit. Liberals really don’t value life when it comes down to it.

Whether be Reagan, or any American President, Americans would fully support all efforts to free American Hostages.

Joe Biden gave terrorists tons and tons of top line arms and also gave them a lot of US citizens left behind when he lost a war to a stone age group of barbarians. Does anyone ever talk about that anymore? Seemed like it was in all the papers for a day or two.

The Bush/Clinton/Obama/Biden Crime Families do things differently.

They just leave billions of dollars in Arms behind, for the favored gang to pick up for free.

Give billions of US TaxPayer dollars to all the Crooks, Ukraine Tyrants, and Crony Forever-War Grifters for the usual Vig, 10% for the Big Guy.

Give Satelite Tech and Uranium to the Rooskies and ChiComs.

Off Shore all the factories through Financialization, remember that Giant Sucking Sound?

When it comes to sheer Criminality and Selling out the Country, Reynaldus Magnus is not in that gang.

Regardless of this opinion piece and its conclusions, right or wrong...

Democrats won’t hesitate to sleep with enemy spies; sell out their country, their families and children; wack their grandmas and anyone that gets in their way... and trade worthless America hating zombie athletes for terrorists, Islam fundamentalist suicide bombers and Stalinist ideologues. Democrats care only for power, and will trade their soul for whatever they can surround themselves with that will destroy the opposition and keep them in power.

The article author keeps saying that Reagan sold arms for hostages. The hostages were released, BEFORE, Reagan was sworn in. 4+ years later the Russians were playing in Central America funding the Sandinista’s and arming them. This was a violation of the Monroe doctrine, and a clear and present danger to the US. At the same time, Congress had a leader called Tip O’Neil, who managed to pick his nose on CSPAN and go against anything that Reagan tried to do. The democrats, no surprise, were trying to block intervention by the executive to protect the United States from the Communists in central america.

Congress does have the power of the purse, to block US from funding those that proxy fought USSR for the US. They used that card, even though it endangered the nation. Reagan got around that with the IRAN-Contra deal, but the entire link to the Iranian Hostage crisis is just stupid from a time sense.

The left wing still tries to vilify Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Trump, while propping up the likes of Carter, Biden, Obama, Clinton. Well, maybe not the left wing because the government has clearly been involved with the media for longer than twitter, just that the twitter files tell you the control. Especially now, that the truth is out concerning the CIA Watergate operation to sting Nixon (as well as the FBI involvement in MLK and CIA in JFK, ?RFK), it’s becoming more apparent that the US Government has been controlled by the people for a long time....

Hostages were those kidnapped in Lebanon by Islamic militants starting in 1982. Terry Anderson, Benjamin Weir, etc.
