Our current administration will do everything in its power to undermine the uprising and maintain the status quo.
This guy should turn over whatever ill-gotten money he got from his dad and family and then move on with his life. Giving him or any “royalty” any time or attention is idiotic. Yes, Iran needs regime change but anything involve past regimes and entitled people is simply stupid. Let him go get a job at McDonalds or something.
The Pahlavis were actually usurpers, who in addition to deposing the legitimate Shah, also stole the oil wealth of the loyalist Akhwazi Arabs in Khuzestan province, with the tacit acquiescence of the UK at that time. It’s been 100 years, and the Ayatollahs continued the theft and the campaign to drive the Akhwazis out of their homeland to this day, and also used their ill-gotten gains to sponsor terrorism and war all over the world. It’s not my concern what sort of government takes over from the Ayatollahs, or who is at its head, so long as these monsters are deposed, and whoever comes in is not worse.
The royal family in Monaco are also direct descendants of the Grimaldi family whose progenitors climbed a rocky cliff overlooking the French Riveria in 1215 to knife to death a group of monks in a monastery on top.
The libs and democrats LOVED Ineedajihad when he spoke at a college. They are going to love thosmguy.
OMG!!! I think his wife emailed me - asking if I’d hold onto all of their cash while they get through this thing…
Let me guess. She just needs your bank account number?
The CIA backed the coup of the Prime Minister, who wanted to nationalize the oil fields. Their coup came in, I think, 1920 or thereabouts. I wrote an article about the whole sordid goings on in Iran, but can’t recall the details. Here’s the link.

My last published piece. Haven’t bothered much writing for publication lately.

Crime pays.
The official Grimaldi Royal Family version was that it was a fort not a monastery. They are silent, however, on the fact that the victims were monks.
It’s entirely likely that they were monks AND soldiers of a sort. Middle Ages were turbulent times. Don’t know the details, though.
Agreed. Several of the martial arts in Asia (Judo, Karate) originated with the clergy as an alternative to just killing someone. The Japanese (in particular) saw westerners as barbarians with the clergy as a vanguard for colonization and conquest to follow. They weren’t entirely wrong.
