I know someone who has fetal alcohol syndrome. The kid’s real mother wasn’t a functioning person in any way, shape, or form. She served some time in jail, and her kids were all adopted by other people. This woman, Norma Hale, doesn’t strike me as that kind of person, but I could be wrong.
