If there is one thing I learned from military history… it is this: men will fight like lions for the freedom of their wives, children, mom and dad.

In addition we just spent the last three years watching our government lock us down and telling everyone that the most important thing in life is to save your own skin. And if you do not care about your own skin and want to interact with others of like mindedness then the government will take away your job and in the leftist places lock you up. Yup, for the first time in history the message is that nothing is more important than saving your own skin. Now how do you get anyone to join the military when the underlying motivation to join is that there are some things in life more valuable than your own life.
Until our society gets serious about things I would never recommend joining the US military. My daughter was in ROTC and an army nurse. I was very happy and proud. I would no longer recommend this.
