Although Tucker Carlson has made no public comments about being fired by Fox News as of Tuesday morning, a new report said he believes his ouster was part of a one-two punch hitting Fox News.
The host of the ratings juggernaut “Tucker Carlson Tonight” was abruptly axed Monday.
“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” Fox News said in a statement. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
According to Vanity Fair, Carlson has told people he believes his show was killed and he was fired because the Murdoch family plans to sell Fox News. The report cited sources it did not name.
Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch has made his son, Lachlan, the CEO of Fox Corp., the parent of Fox News.
Carlson was called Monday morning by Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and told his show was being taken down and his Fox News email had been shut down, according to the report.
He told those around him that Scott did not explain the decision, telling him only that it was made “from above,” Vanity Fair reported.

Well, I listened to his speech at Heritage over the weekend. If you have not done so, I highly recommend it. Even Heritage jokingly invited him to come work for them.
It seems clear the events that unfolded on Monday were unexpected by Tucker. I suspect he needs to take time to digest what has happened and leaving him out to dry a while is actually quite the punishment for someone like Tucker.
Could he fill Rush’s shoes? I do not think so in this environment we have today. Rush played things very safe all the years he was on the radio, Tucker doesn’t play safe.
There are a few data points I am thinking through though. As this media clean-out was not about just Fox, although it looks like it on first glance. The picture is much bigger and the shot much wider.
The regime in office came from the war protest generation of the 60’s. They know, yes KNOW, they must control the narrative as we move closer to actual war with Russia. And there are a few voices on the airwaves that will be silenced. They have to be. The regime is going to demand the full support of the American people. They will be sending our sons and daughters to a brutal war front. A war we could truly lose.
A voice like Tucker on the nightly news pointing out all the failings leading up to the actual conflict, a dirty bomb in a major city, the open border for years, draining of the reserves, draining of our weapons which the military is already talking about. It would be a disaster for the regime .
No, there is something much more in scope to this than a lawsuit, much bigger than a few MAGA talk show hosts. This is the clean-up of the propaganda machines at the major networks.
They need certain entities off the air. They need the Watchman on the towers silenced.
We are just about out of days.
Watch Israel. Time is close for something to happen, a preemtive strike perhaps.

The certainly are not Rush. But NO ONE can ever fill those shoes. But honestly, there were times I didn’t really agree with Rush. He was a Bush supporter/apologist and supported some of the RINOs far after they had been exposed. He was for all the Gulf Wars, so maybe Rush was a Neo-Con???

Not happy about Fox these days. I was not a fan of Tucker and especially not a fan of his giggling. It goes without saying that I do not trust the channel at this time. He made them millions upon millions. The whole thing reeks.
I miss Krauthammer. He was the last great analyst on the network.
That’s what I thought. He got the video, likely not all the video. He exposed a lot in the first day. Then it was advertised on the second night he had interviewed first hand people there. It was going to be shocking and conclusive. Well by the next night it was very tame. And many said that he was forced not to air it. Even though he supposedly had complete control Fo his show. Another show was canceled also. They are selling the station. It will be turned into another cnn. Or fake right channel which it has been since election night 2020. They are trying to make sure conservative media is showing what the left want them to see and bend the truth about things. I quit watching after election night. Not showing the states evidence cameras on the drop boxes and video showing them pulling boxes of ballots from under the table. Any proof of election fraud was forbidden. The common conservative needs to find another channel. Not sure if newsmax or OAN is the answer. I heard one of the stations is already been gotten to.

Back when Rush was alive he had fill-in on his days off. They were OK to pretty good. I liked the guy with the English accent. They all followed Rush’s general line of thinking. One of them should have take over the show.
