Tucker Carlson January 7, 2021 — 04:18:04 PM UTC A couple of weeks ago, I was watching video of people fighting on the street in Washington. A group of Trump guys surrounded an Antifa kid and started pounding the living shit out of him. It was three against one, at least. Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable obviously. It’s not how white men fight. Yet suddenly I found myself rooting for the mob against the man, hoping they’d hit him harder, kill him. I really wanted them to hurt the kid. I could taste it. Then somewhere deep in my brain, an alarm went off: this isn’t good for me. I’m becoming something I don’t want to be. The Antifa creep is a human being. Much as I despise what he says and does, much as I’m sure I’d hate him personally if I knew him, I shouldn’t gloat over his suffering. I should be bothered by it. I should remember that somewhere somebody probably loves this kid, and would be crushed if he was killed. If I don’t care about those things, if I reduce people to their politics, how am I better than he is?
WHO did he write this TO?
This sounds like Tucker analyzing his own reaction to a video he watched. A lot of us wouldn’t mind seeing an antifa thug get a good beat down considering how much trouble they cause, but there is a moral consideration as Tucker pointed out. Is he critiquing how media can enrage people to do things they normally wouldn’t do? Anyway, I don’t see the problem with Tucker’s text. Maybe Fox leaked it to make him look bad.
I’m sorry, but is introspection now dishonorable?

The PDF file is 192 pages.
The Tucker Carlson text message that the New York Times included online at:
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/02/business/media/tucker-carlson-text-message-white-men.html
and I included in my reply 28 above, does NOT show in that PDF file, supposedly because, as the NYT states:
"The text is part of redacted court filings and its contents were previously unreported. The contents of the text were disclosed in interviews with several people close to the defamation lawsuit against Fox. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing a message that is protected by a court order. In public filings, it remains hidden behind a block of black text."
But I *suspect* that the particular message is actually part of Abby Grossberg's lawsuit. Because the content of the particular Tucker Carlson message, is not related to the Dominion matter - instead, the content points to Abby Grossberg's complaint re prejudice.
Also, I have been scrolling up and down thru the Dominion case, and I have not found any leading or following information that might indicated where the particular Tucker Carlson message would be.
I have not found any evidence online, or in the PDF file, that Tucker Carlson said what the New York Times claims.
