By 1471, the Mongol Empire (so to speak) had already been gone for over a century; the various Mongol Dynasties that succeeded it (such as the Golden Horde and the Chagatai Khanate) were nowhere near as vast or powerful by the 15th century.

Wouldn't you expect that cameras would be focused on the Kremlin from various positions at all times?
