Actually, I think he cracked. He is just a civilian acting like a bigshot with no military background at all. Last I heard, but nothing official yet, Wagner is going into R&R and being replaced by regular Russian troops, but that Chechen guy, Kadyov wants a piece of the action there, too.
Just reported that Today Russia took out a bridge just west of Bakhmut cutting of main Ukrainian supply line and escape route
It was reported days ago on Telegrams channels but now being reported by ISW

2/ Additional geolocated imagery posted on May 4 shows a destroyed Ukrainian bridge over the Siverskyi Donets Donbas Canal west of #Bakhmut near Chasiv Yar.
Russian forces made additional gains within #Bakhmut as of May 5.
Geolocated footage published on May 5 shows that Russian forces have advanced in northwestern Bakhmut towards #Khromove (directly west of Bakhmut).

Yes I too heard Wagner’s going to take a rest time, basically swithching out with the Russian troops which they’ve been doing, but Ukraine media falsely says they’re retreating - heck our media knows nothing about warfare as well. I find it so laughable to hear female pundits act like they know what they’re talking about....
Chechens have been fighting on both sides...but I think the ones fighting for Ukraine are the renegades...but I could be wrong.
