Self-identified? How tough would it have been to track down one of the victims, and verify his status as a Marine? So much for modern journalism.

Anyway, the Marines in the story made a serious, yet understandable, mistake. They assumed that they were not in a war zone.

One would think that the Department of the Navy wouldn’t be obligated to reveal their status...and might not do so in a case like this.Particularly with The Big Guy as “Commander-In-Chief”.

After what happened to Danny Penney in New York, there’s no way I’d let any journalist identify ‘white man’ me after I was involved in a racial altercation.

Some Soros DA would make pay on indicting a white guy.
