“Why would you wait 2 1/2 years to sign, and then announce a plea deal you made in January 2021?”
The only thing I can think of (besides Congress turning up the heat recently) is that last week a judge ordered Hunter to appear in person in family court for the next child support hearing. So maybe they are announcing this plea with its sentence of probation so that Hunter can now say “I can’t leave the state, I’m on probation!”
Possibly, but that doesn't change the fact that on Jan. 21, 2021 he was heard saying he made a "plea sentence." There's no way they waited 2 1/2 years to complete the deal, and put the restrictions in place. There's shenanigans going on here big time.
