It would be interesting to see some old-fashioned Indians come to take their land back, drive away the palefaces, and fire the church.
The only time I have ever come close to walking out of a church service was forty years ago in a UMC that had something similar to this, but no where nearly as bad. Not even close.
I, too, walked out of two different UMCs: 1996 and 2000. Did not stick around for the third strike. Found a Biblically faithful congregation / denomination.
