CNN - Here’s a hot take on the summer of 2023: The climate you grew up in is gone, replaced by something new and changing, but also inalterably different – where the Atlantic Ocean can reach hot-tub temperature, heat is a recurring public health concern and people will have to adapt their way of living.
In this year of epic heat, it’s time to start thinking about how the climate changed rather than the fact of its changing.
From a historical standpoint, we are in uncharted territory. This is not just the hottest month in human history. It may be the hottest month in 120,000 years, according to scientists in Europe.

It’s now Global Boiling.
It’s the Summer.
Full stop.
Instances of weather events are not climate.
It’s late July in the Atlanta area. The highs are in the low to mid 90s.
This isn’t OMG! CLIMATE CHANGE!!!1!
This is Summer.
Babbling Fool ,LOL
Because I traveled recently I see a lot of travel articles.
The leftists want to end tourism and they of course base lot of it on global warming and going in about how hot it is in Summer.
the solution is so simple
declaration of a climate emergency
suspension of all civil liberties
voila
climate paradise
Pres. Trump ought to have Plimer speak at one of Trump's rallies.
For being “changed” it sure seems pretty darn normal.
Its almost like it happens all the time. Oh, it is and does. DOH!
The other term for climate change is ‘seasonal change in climate’.
This is probably too much for the climate cultists to handle.
I have a prediction for the climate cult. In a few months the weather will change again, it will start getting cooler then maybe even snow in some places for about 3-6 months depending on location and elevation.
The world climate has changed on its own since the beginning of time for this planet. It will continue to change on its own until the big fireball in the sky blows earth apart. I don’t think anyone alive today will be around to see that though.
They say “climate change” like it’s a given that it’s man-caused. That is not a settled question and we must keep that idea at the fore. They gloss over the real contention because they can’t defend it.
Journalists.
When you absolutely, positively cannot pass even the most simple of science tests (not even ones in the ‘eddikashun’ major) in school.
And remember, CNN ‘talent’ is at the bottom of the journalist IQ range.

Yep, that guy in the UN said something about boiling oceans? I wonder if that’s a new talking point, that oceans are boiling???
The way this issue is discussed, hot summer weather is indicative of global warming, and bad winter storms, cold weather storms, are also indicative of global warming.
It’s as if weather itself, is indicative of global warming, no matter what the weather is.
That's fine, CNN; that's what humans have always done when conditions change. I hope you don't think that "adapting" means "doing whatever the climate Nazis say", though, because you'll be disappointed by the response of a great many of us.
I’m sure that is how we solved the problem 120,000 years ago. People have such short memories.
Climate change, heat islands, deforestation so, let’s double down and import more immigrants.
According to Glenn Beck, there is a climate change group that actually feeds the narrative to members of the mainstream media, helpfully showing them how they can put climate change stuff in every story.
So you get stories about how climate change is associated with an increase in rhinotillexomania (compulsive nose-picking), for a hypothetical example.
