Biden’s Energy Secretary Blames Her Staff’s 'Poor Judgement' On Recent EV Incident(No search results)

President Joe Biden's Energy Secretary, Jennifer Granholm, refused to take responsibility after an incident involving her administration's push on the Left's Green New Deal went haywire.

Advertisement Granholm blamed her staff's poor judgment after police were called for clogging electric vehicle (EV) chargers with a gas-powered car.

During a House Science and Technology Committee hearing, the Biden staffer was grilled by Rep. Scott Franklin (R-Fla.) over the incident that occurred in Georgia during her four-day EV road trip in June.

According to a 911 call, Granholm's staff left drivers up in arms after they blocked open chargers with a non-electric car outside a local Walmart while the Biden administration official was still en route.

"Let me just say, I have a fantastic young staff, just fantastic," Granholm said. "It was poor judgment on the part of the team."

Franklin pressed Granholm on why her staff blocked the charger, to which she responded by saying, "I can only imagine they wanted to continue moving."

Granholm continued to shift the blame away from her, making sure Franklin knew it was "not her" that was "saving the spot."

Just curious. Was the bus she tossed them under and EV type bus? Typical branDUHn administration assclown. Was she (or is it "were 'they'") not informed and approve of the circus?

It’s like Clinton shutting down LAX for a haircut.

Poor judgement will be rewarded with promotions and nice pay raises. The government rewards loyalty, not competence.

They should put her words to country music so they could get a new line-dance going: “Side-step, slide-step, side-step; and never face the music.”

This just highlights the issue with EV’s. A person is nor even able to plan with help of staff to find working, open charging stations to maintain any type of schedule. So welcome Secretary to your brave new world where YOUR TIME DOES NOT MATTER! Be seeing you number 6........

“Poor judgment” means “with a little more experience, my people will learn how to avoid getting caught.”

So she showboated around in an EV; her staff did the practical dirty work in a gas vehicle, probably multiple gas vehicles for staff and security detail, told the peasants to back off and wait a la Clinton’s Air Force One haircut, same kind of vanity and arrogance, except Granholm wants to mandate even more inconvenience, expense, difficulty, and delay for the peasants.

What I want to know, was there a truck with a backup generator?

Ain’t it great to be king?

But for a few exceptions I’m sure, only a democrat or RINO is stupid enough to buy one of these cars.

That said, I hope they all wait, particularly in the winter up north.

Being a ranking member of the Deep State means never having to say you’re sorry

There are always some poor peons to take the rap for your lies and screw ups.

And always a willing butt-licking media to back you up.

Yup, blame the staff. As a member of the Biden administration, we know that she is science, logic, and morality challenged. We also know that there is a very high probability that she is not very good at anything save for being a political appointee with a law degree. I’d bet she couldn’t pass a frosh undergrad course in any STEM subject. The only thing she’s qualified for in her department is janitor. Barely.
