Sen. Robert Menendez is no stranger to corruption investigations and indictments — and to eye-popping revelations about his private life.
The New Jersey Democrat is facing charges of taking gold bars and bribes and stashing hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash around his house in return for using his “power and influence” — including his position as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee — to benefit the Egyptian government and two local businessmen.
He has denied the charges and called them a conspiracy by over-reaching prosecutors — a tactic which worked for him the last time he was charged with a lurid corruption scheme involving a bizarre cast of characters.

New York jury they will find him not guilty regardless of the evidence.
By not stopping him the first time, they let him think he could get away with it, and he went for round # 2.
For all I know he might be right, and he’ll get away this, too. He is a democrat, after all. Control of the Senate depends on him—and every democrat Senator.
Maybe it’s time for Manchin to make his move.

He pretends to be some sort of centrist/indy, but that's his act.
If/when he runs as an indy for potus 2024, he's a Perot II, and will siphon votes from GOP voters disaffected by Trump, and handing the election to the Dem candidate (not Biden in my best guess.)

They won’t listen to reason. Either they are bots or dem operatives. Manchin co wrote the most anti 2A legislation under Obama. Yet Manchin shrills still abound.
