Any law enforcement officer or public official that abuses their power so as to harm innocent citizens need to be charged and sentenced to life in prison as far as I’m concerned. The object here is deterrence.

Several years ago some cop pulled a driver over and it ended up with some charges (I can't remember what charges). There was no reason for the cop to pull the guy over so the cop told the court it was because the man had both hands on the steering wheel and that if a person wasn't guilty then they would not have both hands at the 10 and 2 O'clock position.
The court, and an appeals court, upheld the conviction and let the policy stand that if a person has both hands on the wheel in the positions taught in driving school, the police then have sufficient cause to pull you over and search your vehicle.
I have spent my life driving long distances (across the entire country several times and many other 1000+ mile trips) and probably spend 90% with my hands at the 10 and 2 position as it is comfortable. Glad to know the cops can pull me over and harass me for driving like I am supposed to drive.
We also need to disabuse their idea they are not civilians.
I live in FBI and cop central near Quantico and these civilian government numb nuts always talk about them vs civilians. I always remind them they are civilians as well. They are civilian law enforcement and nothing more. I even have to remind Sheriff deputies they are not some special group and they are civilian as well.
When they convince themselves and the taxpayers they are special and not like the rest of the civilian citizens they become extra-judicial thugs and petty tyrants.

Off topic-I’m as slender as that woman-I’m fit and healthy. I follow an all organic Paleo diet and lifestyle with vitamins, supplements, workouts, physical work, etc-if you follow that or a similar healthy routine, you do not carry much body fat or look like the heifers that are more common now because they eat processed frankenfood...
