I would like to say that Im appalled at the statements of bigotry this forum has made attempting to diminish the achievements of the non-corporeally enabled citizens among us and would like to welcome our first openly trans-continuum voting senator.

Well ,the way Free Republic works, we are expected to express hatred for all political opponents.
On other threads on Dianne Feinstein’s passing ,they’re many Freepers who are expressing great joy that she’s dead.
I will state only this: Her political leanings and mine were as far apart as polar north and polar south. I can only hope that she did what she did in the best interests of the people she represented in California and the United States of America. I imagine I ridiculed and disparaged her enough when she was alive.

Jim Robinson put out a thread recently on this very subject asking us all to be civil.
There is anecdotal evidence that some longtime Freepers have disappeared from this site.

Things like, unless you 100% buy into the 2020 Federal election was stolen vs. voter and election fraud, combined with inept legal challenges and incompetent analysis (see Lindell getting hornswoggled by Dennis Montgomery, "Mary Fanning", etc).

More than a few posters are adherents of the Kari Lake school of winning elections - insult potential voters - 'cuz less is more in elections. Yes, you can apparently win elections by telling potential voters to essentially kiss off.

It’s fine that people can have strong opinions here ,but it gets absurd when we see conservative free thinkers attacking other conservatives, because they’re not conservative enough on certain nuances of issues.
Someone as bad or worse, I'm sure. There are no moderate 'Rats left in CA.
