Weird. Who will do the shooting?

Trump isn’t a 2A supporter: “First take the guns, then the due process.”

My grandfather said “shoot em down. We know they’re guilty because we caught them in the act. They don’t need a trial “. LOL

The public officials in Richmond wanted to prevent the media from publicizing the bread riots. Whether in 1963 or 2023, some things never change.

11 states don’t have “Stand Your Grand” laws - all blue states. What does Trump plan to do, force states to pass laws he approves of but they don’t?

When I was a kid, a hurricane flooded our state. I remember the governor coming on the radio to announce deployment of the National Guard, and that looters would be shot.

We agree with PDJT’s statement.

The Posse Comitatus Act restricts the use of the Army in domestic affairs. It does not restrict the Marines, which are under the Department of the Navy. The President could have declared a state of insurrection in Oregon, Washington, and Minnesota, where city and state governments were not suppressing the riots. However, Trump did not control the military. The Pentagon and his own Defense Secretary would not have supported the use of Federal troops, including the National Guard called into Federal service, to suppress the riots.

"He didn’t have to take a position on George Floyd to restore order."

~~~
That is NOT how it would be portrayed every night by the likes of Lester Holt. Looking all grim.
Robbery includes a weapon or use of force and includes a right to self-defense. False headline.
Yup. I normally ignore what politicians say and flcus on what they do - even Trump. But I have to say I would like to hear that from any politician.
And to be clear, we’re not talking about the guy that is told to stop and he does. Let’s be honest - shoplifting has become a career for way too many people. I honestly would not mind going back to the days where we don’t waste time and money incarcerating them. Rather, if it’s over a certain dollar amount we just cut off a hand. Dead serious.
I was really hoping for a bunch of canings like Singapore did to Michael Fay back in 1994, maybe a few floggings, put in stocks and vegetables throw at them, maybe getting stretched just a little on the rack. Things of that nature that the public would be allowed to participate in.
For the young’uns bring out the board of education and give them a lesson or three!
Why should we have a criminal justice system that rewards a criminal’s negative behavior when we could have a victim justice system that really puts the screws them?
What about people breaking in to the Capitol building, should they be shot as well?
Trump: “Very simply, if you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store. Shot.”
If he’d said, “Anyone robbing a store with gun in hand who leaves that store gun-in-hand” should expect to be confronted by armed police and killed if he/she refuses to put down the weapon” - I’d agree with that, but that’s not what he said.
I’ve not been to a mall in well over a decade. And the last 20 years before that the only reason I went to a mall was to get a cup of coffee and “people watch”. I went with my wife and daughter about 25 years ago to the Southcenter mall in Tukwila, WA the morning of black Friday. I thought it would be fun to see what it’s all about. Got there about five AM and they gave us all a “raffle ticket”, or whatever you call it. when they drew the number at the food court it was packed with people overflowing into the hall. I was virtually the only man there in a sea of estrogen.
I won. It took me forever to redeem that thing, and it mostly went to coffee.
Maybe even soccer moms are *finally* getting fed up with their own area malls being looted, and, turning ghetto, merchandise (even a $4 eye pencil) being behind lock and key, etc, etc...🤷‍♀️
