Biden wins reelection and the democrats take both chambers and game over.

We will under perform in both chambers in 2024 like we did in 2022, because of the anemic leadership of McCarthy and McConnell.

There is no mythical pure GOP speaker.

Purity? How about we get a leader who only gets their ass kicked maybe 50% of the time instead of 100% of the time.

Gaetz is correct.

McCarthy is a snake.

Stop watching Fox - it rots your brain.

Then perhaps you should censor those evil thoughts that are apparently plaguing you

Iā€™d wager all these tantrum-throwing so-called conservatives here also support continued funding of the Ukrainian war disaster. Is that the bottom line?

The Dems laugh at Trump every day (since 2015) so Gatrz is in good company.

These same Dems LOVE McCarthy.

There is no requirement that there be another Speaker defined before removing this one.

If there is no Speaker, the House doesn’t act on anything.

So what?

Wow! What a great thread!

Complete pandemonium. Utter chaos. Freepers running amok. Insults flying. Posts deleted.

“Good for Gaetz!”

“No. FU. Gaetz is a moron!”

I’m getting more popcorn!

Can you tell me what color the sky is in your world of unicorns and fairytales, please? Iā€™d love to visit it sometime. Is it full of clowns?

Hmm.....the Dems always vote in unison even if they lose the overall vote. Why can this group of lame “unicorns” do the same?

.
Thatā€™s not even debatable.

The House was advised to not use Hunterā€™s name and let Comer do the talking. McCarthy didnā€™t want anyone ā€œoverstatingā€ the Republican case.

Gaetz used Hunterā€™s name and spoke the Truth. He doesnā€™t fit in with those protecting Joe and keeping a good thing going ($$$$).

This has all been a surprise to me.

I've enjoyed his commentaries and assaults on the enemy when he's in committee and I thought he was a firebrand for the good guys.

If nothing else, we have video access to Congress again because of McCarthy.

I'm not altogether in love with the speaker, but I don't see him as a weakling . . . no weaker than the perception President Trump kept obumble people in office when they should have been booted, nor when the PLANET was on Trump to DO SOMETHING about the plandemic and HE DID.

He brought ships into the harbor, respirators on line, multiple vaccines created . . . and all to placate the enemy within.

Trump has now learned some SERIOUS lessons and they don't DARE let him catch his breath.

I'm on my third bowl of popcorn.

“or Hakeem Jeffries becomes Speaker”

He has been Speaker for several months already.

McCarthy sold his soul, and sold us out, in his quest to take the gavel. NONE of those 535 in Congress give a hoot about the country, it's all about what the can fleece from the taxpayers.

Hasn't anyone read Atlas Shrugged? That novel is a primer for what we're seeing in real time, the decimation of America.

I know this is being a little dreamy, but I would live to see Trump win the speaker role and lead the charge in a Biden impeachment.

In reality, it’s anyone’s guess right now.
