Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday compared Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip to Nazi Germany’s siege of Leningrad during World War Two and called for a resolution to the conflict to be reached through mediation.
Putin said Israel’s blockade of Gaza was unacceptable.

He needs a drone grenade dropped on his head
We can only hope it becomes like the siege of Leningrad.
As usual, Putin makes an anlogy that in historical fact is not analogous at all.
Nazi Germany was the aggressor and the Russians in Leningrad were the defenders, while at present Hamas in Gaza is the agressor and promises to continue to be the agressor, to which the IDF defenders have no choice, in order to end that agression, to lay siege to Gaza.
Except that in Leningrad there were 100,000 troops on each side and the coldest winter in 50 years, and the Jew Killers were the ones doing the besieging. But other than that that..... /s
(((YAWN)))) Bidenskyyyyyyy needs to tell Zelenskyyyy “no more pallets of spending money until you bring me Pooty Pooz head.”
Isn’t Vlad the protector of Christians and Jews? Or was that last week?

You might want to brush up on your history…
I’m just NO
Go to your room Vlad
Putin, Your invasion of Ukraine is even worse than what Hamas did!
Pooty-poot isn’t very good at analogies.
I love what you post.
This is rhetorical gold for all the freepers who love Putin.
I hope it dislodges the foolish affections to often expressed for Putin.
what a dumb comment
Leningrad was never surrounded, so it could be re-supplied, and they always had water from Lake Ladoga ... that’s why it could hold out for 2 1/2 years
Gaza will be totally cut off ... Gaza won’t last 3 months
Except the Nazis are on the other side of this siege, Vlad.
This is ominous for Israel, especially since so many Israeli immigrants are Russian, and up until now this has kept Israel fairly neutral about the Russian-Ukraine conflict.
Russian propaganda lies don’t tend to be very consistent if you keep listening to them for more than a week or two.
Yeah. Very similar. I remember how the Wehrmacht broadcast warnings to the civilian population of Stalingrad out of concern for collateral casualties.
I also remember how the Germans allowed large shipments of food, medicine, building materials and consumer goods into Stalingrad for years before the siege.

Most of them have recently quit commenting very much... only the 5 or 6 professional Putin apologists are still at it now, mostly talking to themselves.
For that to happen Israel will need patience. If Gaza is sealed completely then slowly over time they’ll start eating each other literally.
