Trying to get them to put a number on the cost to implement the Green New Deal by 2050

My 1967 Camaro is going back on the road this next week with a new engine, transmission and paint job. A complete overhall costs me about $12,000, every 12 years. That’s less than $1.000 a year, and it’s value keeps rising.
My Camaro will be on the road 100 years from now.

We, the taxpayers, are forced to subsidize such things as up to $7,500 for buyers of an EV.

have they factored in the cost of the second owner losing his entire investment???
cause nobody in their right mind will buy a third hand car whose battery replacement will be cost prohibitive...
or are they selling refurbished battery packs now
but even then, i am confusion

Libs don’t care. Here in CA they’re about to blow up the wage structure for the bottom half of all workers and set off a wave of inflation by requiring a $20 minimum wage for fast food workers, effective January 1. As long as a policy makes them feel good, they don’t care about the cost

They don’t care.
Just like Hawaii’s delegation is 100% behind EVs and all mandates - even though that fire will still be burning if they had EVs in their garages and driveways.
They just don’t care if it’s $35.00 a gallon equivalent- they figure it’s more people forced onto mass transit. .

ONE MASSIVE FAILURE IN ALL OF THIS THAT NO ONE IS DISCUSSING:
MOST POWER transmission lines across the USA are not designed to carry power for everyone living all electric & charging EV’s.
MOST homes do not have the capacity, either.

Why is it that every government intervention into the marketplace inevitably turns into a massive waste that enriches a few while leaving everybody else worse off?
Who coulda seen that coming?
