Emanuel has 25 years leadership experience at social justice institutions but quit St Petersburg job after 23 days...

A Florida city's first chief equity officer resigned less than a month into her $185,000-a-year job without explanation.

Lenice C. Emanuel's first day at St. Petersburg City Hall was Oct. 2. Just 23 days later, she submitted her resignation letter to Mayor Ken Welch.

"Thank you for the opportunity to serve as the City’s Chief Equity Officer," Emanuel wrote in the letter obtained by the Tampa Bay Times. "Wishing you and your team the very best in your future endeavors."

...

Emanuel was the first person to hold the executive position in the mayor's cabinet, a job that took over two years to create and fill, according to the St. Pete Catalyst.

City spokesperson Alizza Punzalan-Randle said administrators have already started working to fill the role.

"We wish her success in her future endeavors," Punzalan-Randle told Fox News. "The chief equity officer role supports Mayor Welch’s intentional push for inclusive progress."

...

Prior to accepting her job with the city, Emanuel served for eight years as executive director of the Alabama Institute for Social Justice, a nonprofit focused on racial justice and reconciliation in Alabama.

I rise in unequivocal support of my colleague Mr. P. Ant on this issue. Although I think Mr. J. Hut would flee in terror at the thought of that THING being Mrs. Hutt.

Good riddance to someone who has wasted the last 25 years.

It would be interesting to see what this professional grifter had for a separation clause.

> She’s a very attractive-looking black woman.

She has a lovely smile, I'll give her that. But otherwise, not so much.

What strikes me is she is ORANGE TO THE MAX.

People give PDJT trouble for "Orange Man" -- this is ORANGE WOMAN.

"Thank you for the opportunity to serve as the City’s Chief Equity Officer," Emanuel wrote in the letter obtained by the Tampa Bay Times. "I very much enjoyed working with my office-mates - sorry I wasn't here long enough to actually learn any of their names. La'Que-EenA - the big, tatted-up Black lady who pushes the doughnut cart through the hallways at coffee-break time - was a real friend, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I understand that she, too, will soon be leaving her $185,000 per year job. I didn't have to empty my desk out, because I never actually got around to filling it with anything. My one active case - firing that White Lead Engineer who had been working with the company for the past 35 years, and who had filed a grievance because he hadn't received a cost-of-living increase in salary for the last two decades - has been successfully concluded. Wishing you and your team the very best in your future endeavors."

Regards,

Executive directors of non profits can make big $$$$$. A neighbor is an ExDir of a food bank in our area and makes $183,000 plus benefits.

$185.000 a year. Man oh man, a guberment job sure pays good these days. Whatever happened to Public servant? Meaning they should serve the public for free in my book. What a freaking joke if it wasn’t the taxpayers getting screwed by these phony bologna positions.

True. I don’t drink enough beer anymore though to worry about waking up next to Jabara the Hutt.
