If the data hasn’t been manipulated (and that’s a big if), a measurement of +0.4C for something as big as the Earth is well within the margin of error. So I suspect that these “scientists” just reported the highest measurement in the range obtained.

Not that it matters. Lets everybody go back to medieval living and eat bugs for dinner. And by everybody, I mean everybody except the elites.

They can still have their heated mansions, their private jets, and their steak dinners.

.4C in one year is *far* too large to be from the slow increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. You’re talking about the equivalent of a quarter century - plus outliers - all in one jump.
