Well, I would say that was the specific technique or method of discrediting the Pizza theory: To exaggerate it beyond galactic limits. The conclusion reflected back upon the investigation itself. It would have been sketchy to prove the conclusion, and then the implications of the conclusion would have been very touchy to prosecute. Could the allegations have torpedoed HRC’s campaign? Sure, I guess.
