Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke out after the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump could be removed from the Colorado 2024 ballot for the crime of insurrection, for which Trump has neither been charged nor convicted.
“This is what an actual attack on democracy looks like," Ramaswamy said, "in an un-American, unconstitutional, and unprecedented decision, a cabal of Democrat judges are barring Trump from the ballot in Colorado. Having tried every trick in the book to eliminate President Trump from running in this election, the bipartisan Establishment is now deploying a new tactic to bar him from ever holding office again: the 14th Amendment," he said.

On the thread earlier today dealing with the brothel in MA and DC, someone commented that this is probably a distraction from something else. I see this the same way. Trump hasn’t been convicted. There’s no basis for this ruling except their own imagination. It will be overturned. They know this and yet did it anyway. What are they using this shiny object to hide?
There is always a write in. And it is only the primary.
I believe that the Court’s reasoning is that he cannot be president. Period. So write in would be meaningless - they would refuse to allow him to participate in Colorado’s election, full stop.
Since this is a federal issue, and they defied the US Constitution per this order, then NO FEDERAL candidate should be allowed or...Colorado gets kicked out of the Union. Right along with the rest of those leftist holes.
Like Trump, he doesn’t feel he could win one on one, so he wants everybody else to get out of the way.
And Trump knows perfectly well that every time the courts attack him, his stock goes up so that people feel they have to support him just to express their disgust at this total corruption of our laws and Justice system.
This is much ado about nothing, but it gives publicity to all the people included in it. And for a politician, any kind of publicity is good.

Some might call it being an opportunist……much like every other candidate.
Vivek/Trump/Trump supporters are the only ones talking about fraud, j6 and other government backed crimes. Meanwhile…..the rest bash Trump, not the government.
Government is failing because the ‘republicans’ we have voted for decade after decade agree with democrats when it comes to voting on legislation. And when they retire, they say it openly. Trump isn’t the problem, Congress is.
Trump nor DeSantis can fix Congress. All they can do is raise awareness of the government crimes and encourage people to vote accordingly. DeSantis does not have that skillset. Vivek is at least trying.
