Interesting. In your first line of your block of text quote, you ask a question that is answered in the first line of the article, in the actual quote from this guy Roy:
First line in the piece:
“I was just at multiple events with [Florida Gov.] Ron DeSantis, where he’s shaking their hands and looking them in the eye, while Donald Trump hangs out in his basement in Florida, afraid to actually debate...”
Unless you want to make up your own version of "the truth" and state without any evidence, made up or existing, that Trump is hanging out in his basement or that he is afraid to debate.
“””afraid to actually debate.”””
‘Afraid to debate’ is nothing more than a ‘talking point’ that the Never Trumpers are hoping might gain some traction since all of the attacks by the Never Trumpers have failed.
The Republican National Committee and their donors have wasted something like $750 million attacking Trump with candidates dressed up to look like MAGA.
On the hand the DNC continues to spend its money on dirty tricks to create as much fraud as possible in the 2024 election.
I took ‘afraid to debate’ as the meaningful line. Certainly, he is not willing to debate. Whether fear has anything to do with that is debatable. Where Trump goes to avoid the confrontations in my mind is equivalent to the Brandon working from his basement ridicule that was prevalent in 2020.
I took Chip Roy using that line to ridicule as a mirror to Trump’s preferred mode of attack. Not a lie.
At least no one from any of Trump’s opposition called Melania a c**t.
