On Saturday, a trap set by Israeli forces resulted in the elimination of dozens of Hamas terrorists in one airstrike.
During operations of the 11th Reserve Commando Brigade battlegroup in Gaza City, soldiers fired at several terrorists to cause them to escape to a building known to be in use as a command post.
When the ground troops identified the terrorists had fled into the building, they called in a fighter jet which destroyed the building, killing dozens of terrorists in one blow.
In addition, forces of the 11th Brigade battlegroup eliminated another terror cell by directing an airstrike at it and identified numerous Hamas military sites that were subsequently destroyed.

I think Israel didn’t learn their lesson , they had 50 years since 1973 war to be more self sufficient in terms of small weapons manufacturing to not depend on USA foreign policy. Administration after administration never let Israel finish the job
And probably this war also will end without Israel fulfilling their goal meaning that in the future another more devastating war will drop in Israel head

We did a similar elimination operation in Afghanistan in 2002. IIRC...Taliban senior leadership had been tracked to a planned rendezvous/meeting place inside a secret building. High altitude drones confirmed the arrival of the vehicles and two Reaper’s fired their full load of Hellfire missiles and dropped the building while the meeting was taking place. The success of the operation was confirmed by frantic Taliban cell phone traffic immediately after the fact. If anyone has archived media coverage of this, I’d love to go back over it. It was an especially special day for me.
