Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson pleaded Wednesday for the federal government to take a bigger role in tackling the migrant crisis, warning that the Windy City and other parts of the US are being overwhelmed by new arrivals.
“Without real, significant investment from our federal government, it won’t just be the city of Chicago that won’t be able to maintain this mission,” Johnson told CNN. “It’s the entire country that is now at stake.”
Johnson, 47, explained that he’s asked the Biden administration to set aside $15 billion worth of resources to address the issue. Biden requested $13.6 billion for border security as part of a $106 billion supplemental aid package he unveiled in October that also included assistance for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

Everybody here saw this 30 or 40 years ago. It sure takes these idiots a long time to wake up to reality. But they woke up too late. And their waking up to the reality doesn’t mean they will fight to deport the invaders or close the border.
Sounds dire. We had decades stretching back to the 80’s to get this under control.
No one worried about spending during all that time. Democrats installed a reliable base. RINOs got their cheap labor.

No money until sanctuary cities are gone. Cut off the government feeding trough except for money to send them home.
But according to the left having illegal aliens is a good thing and a benefit ( they never explained why.) Under that twisted idea, a sanctuary city should want all of the illegals and more.
