The vaccine also requires multiple boosters to remain “effective.” Neither one of those statements of fact is true of any other childhood immunization in our history. Well, to be fair, there is the tetanus shot that needs boosting every 10 or so years, but otherwise, not so much.
They are really pushing the Shingles vaxx too, though, and its effectiveness is only in the 55-60% range. I’ll take my chances with that low an efficacy.
