The FBI cannot seem to stop trampling American citizens' constitutional rights.
But some victims of government abuse have fought back. And their tenacity has left the bureau scrambling to save face.
According to Rob Johnson, senior attorney at the nonprofit Institute for Justice, a landmark Fourth Amendment case pending in California might soon result in severe chastisement for the tyrannical FBI.
In 2021, the bureau raided U.S. Private Vaults, a safety storage company based in Beverly Hills, California, on suspicion of money laundering -- a charge to which the company later pleaded guilty.
While conducting their raid, however, FBI agents exceeded their authority.
Their search warrant called for them to open safety deposit boxes and then “inspect the contents of the boxes in an effort to identify their owners … so that they can claim their property.” Instead, under a sweeping and oft-abused system of "civil asset forfeiture," agents confiscated the boxes' contents and then refused the return anything worth more than $5,000, even in instances where the government charged the property owners with no crime.
For instance, retired government worker Don Mellein, 79, lost 110 collectible gold coins worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The FBI confiscated the coins during the raid and had no intention of returning them until Mellein and others filed suit with help from IJ.

the government ***charged*** the property owners with no crime. ???
“of government abuse”
Let’s be clear about this.
It’s the people in the government wearing the jack boots.
These base-tards see The People as the Enemy.
Good friends, I say invest in Rope companies.
Cuz when the time comes, and it’s coming soon, we gonna need a lot of it.
“They definitely deserve a shiny new space promised by Trump.”
Why on earth did he say that?
I mean, what’s he attempting to do here? I’m confused!
the FBI gets what ever it wants.....for “some reason”....
With shiny new agents to arrest the tarnished old ones…
I actually searched for it both on google and on the specific site, neither provided the article at its origin.
Everything they did outside the scope of the Warrant was a Felony Armed Robbery and they should all be prosecuted, just like everyone else
La Cosa Fedsa
?????
The FBI...is a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.
At present, our only solution as citizens is to ignore anything presented by the FBI/CIA/NSA/BATFE. As a juror, give it zero weight as evidence.
Frankly, at this point if an FBI scumbag is shot in the head by a homeowner upon presenting his 'credentials', as a member of a jury, I would consider it justifiable homicide even if the entire event was captured on camera. I honestly do not care if the person who killed the fed was a scumbag who belongs in jail. I honestly do not care about the death of anyone who works for the feral government at this point. Not one bit. Not one single tear.
No confidence in any damned thing F.B.I.
No confidence in any damn thing federal gub mint
I somehow missed this post and just now came across first the WJ story and then your post after a search.
Thanks for posting this.
“It should go without saying, but the FBI and the DOJ typically don’t like being compared to King George.”
Indeed.
This, again, dovetails nicely with my longstanding conspiracy theory exposed by the Awan Bros scandal, a yet-unnamed influence campaign against the rule of law (USC).
Corroboration
How Biden took the law into his own hands to invade Trumps home.
And he’s still doing it.
Agree, thanks.
That has been my position for many years, except I include the local police and sheriffs, mainly because of my own experience with Police LYING THRU THEIR TEETH about most things. And no, I’m not a criminal.
That is bold generalization you make.
“Most” police and sheriffs are liars?
In reality, most police and sheriffs live within the communities they serve. Yes, there are some dishonest men and women, pedophiles, outright criminals, and other deviants within the very large population of cops just as there are among firemen, clergy, teachers, posters here on FR, and the general public. It’s humanity.
However, in my experience most people with badges are solid citizens or they have little longevity given that they regularly are scrutinized by courts, defense attorneys, and the community they serve.
Much of law enforcement in America now utilize cameras to record their actions and a single moment as you describe and their career is effectively over. We hear of some being caught by the camera and that is good, but it’s very few given the hundreds of thousands of contacts each and every day throughout the country and we all know the media loves to cover such stories.
Kind of disproves your blanket generalization doesn’t it? It is a rather thankless job currently given the attacks on law enforcement in general - the uptick in animosity towards people we expect to perfectly deal with the worst of society who are emboldened to make bad choices by weak accountability here on FR is disappointing.
