ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin told her co-hosts Monday on “The View” that Republicans were “intentionally dumbing down our electorate” to remain in power.
Hostin said, “What we’re seeing by the Republican Party, and I give it to them, we’re seeing a long game. We’re seeing that they are dismantling or attempting to dismantle institutions. All of a sudden, the most elite colleges and universities in the world, which, by the way, they all went to, everybody on the Supreme Court went there, Elise Stefanik went there, all the congresspeople went there, Ted Cruz went there. Those schools are not good enough anymore, I think, because now people that don’t look like them were getting in. Affirmative action, no more, why? So that people that don’t look like them don’t get in. Women don’t have reproductive rights anymore over their own bodies. Why? So they can have power over women. Why is French and, Mandarin and Spanish being taken away from our public schools? So that we can be a monolingual society and can’t compete globally.”

But Republicans are dumbing down their base. Yeah, ok.
Further, if you add the disgusting lack of ethics or morality that too many lawyers have, you have created a group that causes enormous suffering.

Teachers No Longer Have to Be Literate

The New York State Board of Regents, which supervises public education, has decided it will no longer be necessary for would-be teachers to pass an Academic Literacy Skills Test. The reason? The test was producing racially disparate results: Only 41 percent of black candidates and 46 percent of Hispanic candidates had passed the exam on their first attempt, compared to 64 percent of white candidates.

There have been cries of racism for YEARS over the teacher’s literacy test results.
They never told what the actual breakdown was, but it was not hard to figure out when the *racism* screeching began.
It’s how they tell the world about what they’re doing, accusing their opposition of what exactly their active and actual intentions are. They’re so transparent.
