During Dr. Anthony Fauci’s second day of his closed-door interrogation with members of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, the former head of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases admitted shocking details about COVID-19. Advertisement
The Committee, led by chairman Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), dove into 14 hours of testimony where Fauci acknowledged that his six-foot social distancing recommendation “was likely not based on any data.”
“It just sort of appeared,” the GOP-led Committee wrote, quoting Fauci. “Dr. Fauci acknowledged that the lab-leak hypothesis is not a conspiracy theory.”
Nearly four years after civilization collapsed due to Democrats pushing a mostly non-life-threatening virus, Fauci suggested that his “recommendations”—AKA mandates— were based on the desire to control the sheep, which proved that the majority of society is obedient and uninformed.
The Committee revealed that Fauci “advised American universities to impose vaccine mandates on their students,” despite the former NIH director admitting that vaccine mandates could “increase vaccine hesitancy in the future.”
“This comes nearly four years after prompting the publication of the now infamous ‘Proximal Origin’ paper that attempted to vilify and disprove the lab-leak hypothesis,” the Committee wrote.
Wenstrup said things became very “evident” following Fauci’s two-day-long testimony, adding that the above admissions from the NIH official were suppressed completely.
“During his interview today, Dr. Fauci claimed that the policies and mandates he promoted may unfortunately increase vaccine hesitancy for years to come,” the Republican wrote in his findings. “Further, the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans ‘sort of just appeared’ and were likely not based on scientific data. “[The transcribed interview] revealed systemic failures in our public health system and shed a light on serious procedural concerns with our public health authority.”

I distinctly remember during one press conference Dr. Brix (Birx? I forget) showed a slide of how the aerosol “dissipates” after a certain distance. That was the justification for 6 feet. It may have been a lie, and had no effect on transmission, but that was what they said.
But they made so many contradictory and shifting claims it’s hard to know what’s true, and that is the great shame. They have lost the trust of great swaths of the American - and worldwide - people. It would have been much better if they just said “we don’t know, we are looking into it”. Instead they went hardcore authoritarian and made stuff up that was patently false or intentionally misleading.
I don't wish him to be protected. Not at all.

As I recall the six foot rule was based on the distance of a sneeze would disperse. On a related note, the custom of saying God Bless You in response to a sneeze dates back to the Bubonic Plague. A sneeze was a symptom of the plague and a death sentence.
Took two years to get them to admit that the vaccines do NOT prevent you from getting Covid..and passing it on. So why even call it a vaccine?? And what was it in fact?? I’d have to say we were all guinea pigs but for what actual purpose??

Did he ever conclusively state Covid can slip right between the mesh fibers of a mask and act like barbecue smoke in the backyard not being stopped by the screen door?
So lockdowns did more harm than good.
The Big Pharma jabs didn’t really prevent someone from getting covid (and led to sudden death from some people).
Masks didn’t stop the spread of covid.
Social distancing at 6 feet was meaningless.
(Someone said yesterday there are still leftover places marking where to stand in line at 6 feet and signs promoting social distancing as you come in some places. Probably next to “We Sell Cassettes and 8 Tracks.”)
And then there’s having shut down workplaces...schools...churches...
