WASHINGTON — House Republicans said Friday that Hunter Biden’s offer to testify if they issue him a new subpoena was too little, too late — and vowed to forge ahead with holding him in contempt of Congress unless he immediately sets a date to appear.
President Biden’s son waved a white flag in his standoff with House committees leading the impeachment inquiry into his dad for alleged corruption mere days before the full House was expected to hold him in criminal contempt.
“While we are heartened that Hunter Biden now says he will comply with a subpoena, make no mistake: Hunter Biden has already defied two valid, lawful subpoenas,” said House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
“Instead of appearing for his deposition on December 13, 2023, Hunter Biden appeared on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol where he made a public statement without taking any questions, Then this week at the Oversight Committee’s markup of his contempt resolution, Hunter Biden pulled another stunt as he continued to defy duly issued subpoenas.”
Comer and Jordan added: “For now, the House of Representatives will move forward with holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress until such time that Hunter Biden confirms a date to appear for a private deposition in accordance with his legal obligation.”
“While we will work to schedule a deposition date, we will not tolerate any additional stunts or delay from Hunter Biden,” the Republicans said. “The American people will not tolerate, and the House will not provide, special treatment for the Biden family.”

Hunter sounds a bit frightened to answer some really simple questions about dear ol’ dad. If everything’s on the level, this should be easy. And Hussein knew all about it.
He's afraid that they may confront him with some real conundrums - like if he's a man or a woman.
Not being a biologist, he probably would have to pass on that question.

Jill wiped a tear from her eye and told Mika the Republicans were “destroying democracy” showing Americans pics of drugged-up Hunter “during vulnerable moments” in Hunter’s “battle with addiction.”
Reality check.
Joe Biden is being buried by the polls b/c Hunter’s hurting him badly.
So out strolls Jill hoping to turn Hunter into a pitiable “victim”.
When Hunter was a full blown druggie, abusing crack
cocaine, a hopeless junkie ” struggling to beat addiction:”

I think this warning to Hunter should be followed up by a strongly written letter or at least a Tweet.
Bobby H. Biden is sleazy and slick just like Al Capone. The GOP is going to need to find something else, “spittin’ on the sidewalk for instance, if they intend to convict him for anything.
Hunter’s surely quaking in his boots these days.The Republicans are gonna send him a strongly worded letter!
Not only should Hunter Biden be held in Contempt, so should his lawyers.
THAT’LL put a stop to this nonsense.
