Gov. Abbott pointed out that state forces were already operating at the border and that he expects more forces to come to Texas from other state National Guards.
“There’ve been about ten [states] so far that have sent National Guard or other law enforcement … They now are joined together with us. This is a fight for the future of America, and they all know it. And so I believe that they will all be in on this effort.”

“Rank-and-file BP agents appreciate and respect what TX has been doing to defend their state in the midst of this catastrophe that the Biden Admin has unleashed on America,” it said in a Jan. 26 X post.
“We want to be perfectly clear; there is no fight between rank-and-file BP agents and the TX NG (National Guard), Gov. Abbott, or TX DPS (Department of Public Safety). It may make flashy headlines, but it simply isn’t true.”
It would be something to see US military troops pointing guns at National Guard troops to keep them away, while the Army tears down the border fences to let millions of South American come in.

Anecdotally, I cannot confirm this. But a relative in the TSG told me they’ve had nearly 10,000 applications to the State Guard (Not the National Guard) in the last 4 days. My 65-year-old wife looked into it, LOL.
I didn’t say it but ….. Never underestimate biden’s ability to muck things up.

Sounds like a campaign opportunity, if it happens.
And Central Americans, and Chinese, and Sub-Saharan Africans, and North African/Middle-easterners, and Pakistanis, and Indians and Sri Lankans, etc., etc...
The border looks like the United Nations building letting out on hooker Friday. Filled with horny men from around the globe.
It would really be something to see Biden’s people join those who are guarding the border.
And, Abbott does this while on a State Visit to India.
I do not remember him traveling like this before. He is acting like a head of State, not a governor on this trip.
It may be a way to keep the Bidog administration from arresting him.
