King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, says Buckingham Palace.

It is not prostate cancer, but was discovered during his recent treatment for an enlarged prostate.

The type of cancer has not been revealed, but according to a palace statement the King began "regular treatments" on Monday.

Buckingham Palace says the King "remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible".

My mother-in-law had Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. I just lost a niece to neuroendocrine cancer, she was 52. Damn I hate that disease.
As much as I have criticized Charles over the years, I hope he beats this.

He and I are almost exactly the same age. My stage 3 stomach cancer was diagnosed four and a half years ago and I was blessed to beat it. May he be so blest.

I bet that they gave him a PET scan due to the prostate concerns and found a tumor elsewhere.

DITTO, I too am a PCa survivor—so far—Dx’d in 2007. I suspect the lymph nodes were found to be involved or a metastasis to the bones.

This is exactly why each and every man should have a PSA blood test yearly! At any uptick then have a diagnostic test to see what is happening.
