The Biden administration released its proposal for which struggling borrowers should qualify for its new student loan forgiveness plan.
It said that receiving a Pell Grant, a disability and age could be factors signaling hardship.

And one that will get the RATS votes. They’d be getting them anyway from most of these people, but this ensures it.
CNBC has conveniently failed to report that SCOTUS has made it clear that The Big Guy doesn’t have the authority to do so.He even made reference to that fact recently. IIRC in a speech he said something like “the Supreme Court tried to block me,but they didn’t stop me”.
For those who don't follow the rules and read the source story, unfavorable decisions for the current administration always report them as such.
This proposal has two outcomes:
1) Major loan forgiveness based on those "strapped" economically. If outstanding debt is reduced then the money supply also gets reduced by the same exact amount - resulting in deepening the recession and causing many more to lose their jobs.
2) Loan delay. The would help the recession a little, since no debt would be paid down so the money supply wouldn't shrink by that amount. However, those holding the debt would continue to have their lives destroyed by that debt hanging over their head that cannot be discharged through bankruptcy.
Isn't debt-based money great?
Another illegal deal. Slapped down by the law just rewrite it and keep doing it.

I already paid 100% of my $5,000 in student loans. Is Biden going to give me that as a refund, maybe a credit on my upcoming tax return? Why not, if I have to pay everyone else’s loans, lets get mine paid in the mix. Fair is fair.

Before I went to college I did my homework (pardon the pun) and asked programmers and their managers what it's like being them and what kind of training I needed that would make them want to one day hire me and promote me. I got the education they suggested and accepted my first programmer position before the graduation ceremony.
