Study: EVs release 1,850x more particle pollution than gas-powered cars
The American Thinker ^

Posted on 03/06/2024 4:11:49 PM PST by Ronaldus Magnus III

Two years ago, an emissions data firm known as Emissions Analytics, published a study that revealed E.V.s emitted more pollution than gas-powered cars, and the type of pollution they emitted is the most common vehicle-related environmental contamination. The study flew relatively under the radar until a few days ago.

It helps to have some balance. I work at it, as I am naturally a 0 or 1 kind of person.
I’m aware most things in life are in between.

Saw a comment short time ago that BIDEN wants to NOT ALLOW THE SALE of ANY house unless a charger is installed.

The following link (not the Babylon Bee) compliments this thread imo.

More of the same. Good ideas, are really terrible ideas. The leftists are known for many of these good/terrible ideas, BTW.

Your link is a debunked lie and you know it.

If EVs emit particles from brakes and tires, don’t regular cars have them too?

Before you say something about weight, consider an F350 is between 5,854 lbs to 8,127 lbs depending on configuration. A cybertruck weighs 6603, and a model 3 weighs 3,864 to 4,034 lbs.

My first car (71 olds 442) was 3,713 lbs.

Ceramic brakes don’t make the amount of “brake dust” like metallics do. You can get them on any car now.

“If EVs emit particles from brakes and tires, don’t regular cars have them too?”

The problem with EV brakes is that they rust from lack of use. Regenerative braking handles most of the load.

EVs are the automotive parallel of the CFL light bulb.

Hydrogen cells will be the LEDs.

I’m holding out for LED!

Great correlation. Government mandates never account for better tech. Hydrogen cars will be on the market in the next few years and EVs will be toast.

Tesla and the whole electric car stampede, his stated belief in human influenced global climate change, and the whole “Colonize Mars” fantasy - the obstacles to humans surviving the journey, and then thriving on a planet that makes the center of Antarctica seem like a beach vacation are highly underrated - are reasons why I can’t have more than one foot on the Elon Musk fan float.

Hydrogen embrittlement will be a very, very difficult issue to overcome.

Whoa! ICE cars don’t have brakes!

Or tires!

Well, EVs are a lot.heavier. IDK how much the extra mass effects tire and brake wear. But it would necessarily have some effect

So how’s that different than a regular car that someone only drives occasionally?

Gee, it seems people just like to make up stuff to prop up their beliefs.

“I don’t know what is worse - thinking you believe what you said, or that you don’t”

You didn’t cite my post because you know it is fact.

You didn’t refute my post because you know it is fact.

You chose to attack me because you want to hide the fact.
