If so I would ask you to consider that the lack of respect for life in the current generation comes from the lack of respect for life shown to them in the deaths of those many tens of millions. Human life is fundamentally valuable or it is not. We cannot arbitrarily say it is good in this case but not in that case or there will be terrible consequences.
