Made people whack jobs about leaving the house and wearing mask and little tyrants trying to force you to comply. I lost contact with a few family members and a old coworker because I was not playing the game.

IMHO, the worse thing that Covid caused to happen is that it flooded America with little girls playing ukeleles or guitars who can’t sing of play but are now internet and TV commercial “superstars”.

It also, destroyed people’s lives when they were let go after years and years of loyal service when they refused to comply with the asinine vax mandates and mask requirements and social distancing demands.

People’s whole lives were ruined, many of which will never recover after losing what they had trained for their whole lives, only tl be thrown out onto the streets by careless tyrants with no common sense-

Nurses, doctors, health care workers, firefighters, military people etc etc etc- all fired. Now the mi,Italy wants them to come back AFTER treating the people like crap!

Maybe a special holiday could be set up on the date Fauci and other government officials approved funds for the ChiCom’s Wuhan Institute of Virology to produced a gain-of-function to the coronavirus (aka ChiCom virus).

Relatives of those who died from the ChiCom virus could gather and express their views of how the government officials betrayed the United States.

The entire covid thing was the greatest crime against constitutional and legal rights perpetrated by this country against its citizens in its ~250 year existence.

Wife, myself and youngest grand daughter went to Taco Bell last night.
Honestly I think the first time since about 2021 maybe even 2020. (We sometimes eat out at Mexican places so usually don’t go to TB)

I was shocked…SHOCKED at the prices. I remember regular hard shell tacos about a buck. Now to 2 dollars as an example.

Almost double the prices I remember, yet the reports claim 25-30% rise in fast food prices. I don’t believe it.

A hybrid work schedule has replaced her daily commute to the company headquarters in downtown Chicago, giving Ms. Thompson more time with her children and a deeper connection to her neighbors. “The pandemic is such a negative memory,” she said. “But I have this bright spot of goodness fro...

And this why RTW is not going to work for many organizations

My customers aren’t in my office and I could actually work from a cruise ship and nothing would change and no one would know.

Covid been very very good to me.

I got to work from home and I don’t think I’ll ever have to go back to the office on a permanent basis. Virtual net meetings are more productive than office meetings ever were.

My college kids got to come home for a semester so I unexpectedly got to spend a lot of time with them, that I wouldn’t have otherwise.

I learned a lot of new recipes since I wasn’t eating out. Tried some of the meal delivery services which I enjoyed until I got overwhelmed with too much food.

I didn’t mind secluding or wearing a mask when I did go out.
But I only wore a mask once a week.

I think the biggest downside for me was that my kids did get Covid but both came through it okay. And FR got crazy.

I eventually got the vax but not the boosters. Which is okay because the microchip is building new organs using the nano-plastics.

For me, one of the many positive aspects of the COVID fiasco was that I found it very, very easy to simply write off a large portion of my acquaintances and professional associates. I was never close to them because I kind of sensed in the back of my mind that they were timid losers or @ssholes, but COVID helped confirm it.

Lost my job; lost my home; got engaged; fiancé died - covid related; lost another home.

Other than that.....

Still... so many people lost their lives. Time to count blessings.

RIP all victims.

Lest we forget, a lot of people had their lives reshaped by being dead. I still want to know what world leaders were told that had them shut down their nations’ economies. It must have been very scary.

--- "...not playing the game."

The legacy media is ramping up the hype again. But, as posted to another thread today and so fully current:

From: "COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic - Last updated: March 14, 2024, 11:35 GMT"

7,005,901 deaths since the pandemic began in 2020

Source: Wrodlometer updated as of today

( 7,005,901 deaths / 8,097,203,634 world population ) x 100 = 0.0865 percent mortality rate of the world's population. Less than one-tenth of one percent over more than three years.

One observes that the legacy media is no longer particularly interested in the mortality rate for the most obvious of reasons.

The title is best read: "Four Years On, Covid HYSTERIA Has Reshaped Life for Many Americans"

One notes that the NYTimes article begins, as do so many, with the individual "human interest" angle.

Let's be serious. Government shut down so many businesses that it thought were non-essential. Many have never recovered.

It also paid lots of government workers.....not to work or even to show up for work. This brought about a huge culture shift among public employee, many of whom feel being paid for no work is an entitlement.

For others, it taught us that crowed offices, lunch rooms, and lack of proper air changes and filtering were an office health hazard.

If caused the firing of or forced early retirement of those who would not drink the Kool-aid of mandatory vaccinations to prevent the spread of Covid, even though it was proven that being vaccinated did little to stop the spread of the disease.

The shutting down of classrooms destroyed years of educational learning among our youth.

It divided people into socially privileged groups: medical professional, first responders, grocery store workers, government employees, education workers, utility workers, peasants. These groups had status and demanded hazard pay and perks for showing up to work.

It provided stimulus pay for doing nothing.

It destroyed or work ethic and culture.
