What you do is walk in your house and before they can get a word out or invoke anything, shoot them dead. Then tell the authorities you walked in and caught what you assumed were burglars, thought one of them was reaching for a gun, feared for your life and opened fire.
Exactly. Worst case is to leave it to a jury of your peers who wouldn’t want their homes STOLEN either. A good DA would choose to let it go.
