You win the Post of the Day!Actually that is an illogical argument, since unless evidenced otherwise, opposing Putin does not translate into supporting the LGBTQ movement, nor the Left or even Ukraine. Putin is correct in adding the 'LGBT movement' to list of extremist and terrorist organisations (see my posts above) but wrong for criminalizing evangelicals for acting as such - who have opposed the LGBTQ movement and voted conservative here more than any other large religion here.
Yet, as said, we would vote for him over Biden here. After all, evangelicals voted 80% for Mormonic Mitch. But which did not translate into supporting his religion.
However, many FReepers - likely including some who unequivocally laud Putin - oppose making abortion and LGBTQ an issue in the election at hand. Not a "winnable political position" as one told me.
