well, that is the problem. Mike Johnson is not working with the majority of Republicans who voted against the financing package. He broke the Hastert Rule, as well as, the rule that provides time for representatives to read what they are voting on.

He instead is working with the Democrats and against even the Republican base.

So much for the nonsense you just offered up, because you are supporting the wrong side in the fight, as is Mike Johnson.

Problem is we do not have any room for purity of principled action with a practically nonexistent majority. If that House majority is gone the Dems will control everything and it will be no holds barred.

I’m sure you and I agree on all the principles including on the budget but we will be discussing the fine points in an American gulag if we don’t unite and then win in November.
