But why is there demand to see randos speaking to a crowd of randos on fractured topics, sponsored by Ted?
Just because someone is speaking before an audience, that doesn’t mean they’re worthwhile.
It’s the same thing with podcasts. *I* could launch a podcast. That doesn’t mean it’s worth anyone’s time (though, I assure you, it’d be riveting!).
Podcasts allow deep dives into topics not covered elsewhere—as well as points of view not available through “mainstream” outlets.
