Opinion: Biden and Trump know Kennedy’s VP choice is a game changer
The Hill ^ | Mar. 27, 2024 | Douglas MacKinnon

There is nothing remotely normal or conventional about this presidential election. Alice in Wonderland would feel right at home bouncing about between the fantastical issues plaguing the Biden and Trump campaigns.

For the current president, voters worry about Biden’s age, perceived cognitive issues, his son Hunter’s legal and perception problems, growing policy failures, and a country and world going more sideways by the day. For the previous president, it’s hard for some voters to unsee the FBI raid on Trump’s home in Florida, his mug shot, multiple indictments by Democratic prosecutors and district attorneys, trial dates and the greater “lawfare” campaign being purposefully amplified by some in the media. With that as background, it is no surprise that approximately 70 percent of voters indicate they do not want Biden or Trump as their next president. Enter — stage middle — Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

She (allegedly) slept with Elon while separated from Sergey.. which Elon strongly denies. This caused some bad blood between Sergey and Elon.

Douglas MacKinnon is a former White House and Pentagon official and author of the book: "The 56 – Liberty Lessons from those who risked all to sign The Declaration of Independence."

I assume that's him?

Would be awesome to see all three in a debate. Probably won’t happen though. The Uniparty won’t allow it as they don’t like the competition shining a light on their incompetence.

Not any more. The preamble is War and Peace. I’m long gone before I ever find any meat.

If RFKjr gets a couple of states, what happens if no candidate gets to 270?

House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries gets all Dems and 20 well-placed RINOs in the House to refuse Trump any more than 20 states, more likely 15 states, and Biden is inaugurated.

Why would Kennedy advertise his family’s history of assassinations?

Kennedy has decided to “swing far left” in an effort to dislodge the Biden/IneligibleHarris ticket.

I think he’s made a mistake. The election will be won, as many elections are won, roughly in the middle. And Kennedy could have looked fairly credible there (had he selected a more centrist Veep).

As it is, he will take votes away from Biden. Unless this is part of a larger scheme (backed by Biden’s Puppetmeisters), ....?

I just want Kennedy on Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan ballots.

Nothing else matters

I really think that if the D-rat party even tries to take out RFK, Biden will lose by a landside.

IOW, a pure blue blooded "Never Trump" Bushie RINO who's doing his best to promote a leftist ticket to screw Trump.

Good pick-up.

Having said that, it is impossible to have a long-term career anywhere in or around Washington DC unless one shows complete fealty to the Deep-state and Uniparty.

its not so strange. When you have large, bloated, top-down, centralized bureaucracies, of course one must accept the group-think. Would anyone but a loyal communist have a job in Moscow in the 1970s or 1980s?

It’s actually rather inspired. She brings the same outsider, non-politician status many hope Trump’s choice will have.

It always amazes me how many FReepers want to imagine the Kennedys were somehow on our side against the deep state - and that Trump is just finishing what JFK started.

I guess for some people getting assassinated bequeathes some sort of nobility upon the victim - as in “only the good die young.” That is BS - bad people can die young too.

The Kennedys are all stinking Democrats - assassinated or not.
