I could see 95% of that 98% being covered by hydroelectric power. If you’re blessed with those kind of natural resources, then sure. Not that much from solar and wind though.
Still, you are probably correct regarding bovine excrement calculations, or assumptions.

You are not terribly far off. I checked. Hydropower is about
88% of Norway power production in 2023.
