Earth has repeatedly had high and then low CO2. Ditto for temps. And, absolutely no correlation.

We pretty much have that every year here in Arizona during the monsoon season. If you are lucky enough to be out in the wild Sonoran Desert when this happens, the smell of the air afterwards is incredibly fragrant. It's like being in a pine forest or being near the ocean, but different.
