I don’t think he caved. He supports sending arms to Ukraine, just like a majority of other Republicans in the Congress do. And I might add Trump could have stopped it if he wanted to but he did not.

Well if the GOP didn’t allow funding the corrupt oligarch government of Ukraine would have fallen just before the election and would have lead to everyone losing their mind in the mainstream media and blaming it on the GOP.

The key was to get concessions like border security in exchange for funding.

Or for the Trump approach border security AND increased European funding also.

He absolutely did cave. No one would argue that our national security is the number one issue, now and always. It is always the number one priority.

Johnson’s actions spoke loudly, clearly, and in no uncertain terms, that he, the democrats and many Republicans do not consider border security as the most important issue of our time, and NOT their number one priority.

Johnson had incredible leverage there, not only on our national security, but actually any issue, and he gave it away for NOTHING!

Ooops, I stand corrected, he did get a democratic party flag-waving party in return.
