Dem Gov so that would not help. It is also NJ where they changed who was on the ballot right before an election in the past. I do not see this helping unless they do not appoint someone to fill the term out.

No appointments to House. Special election or remains vacant to next regular election.

Dem Gov so that would not help.

He's in the House, so there is no governor appointment to fill the vacancy.

Also, the vacancy is too close to the general election to call for a special election. The seat should remain vacant until November.
