Azar believes that her generation has been “sold a scheme.” A college degree no longer guarantees you a stable job that pays you enough to support yourself or family.

You get a non STEM degree in women studies, basket weaving, etc., do not expect a high paying job. Most of the non-STEM degrees can be close to worthless and bury you in debt.

I worked 2 jobs from 1984 to 2002. Glad I did. The 2nd job was the Army Reserve, wow is it paying off now, especially with healthcare for my family. It was painful at times like in 2001-2002 where I was a commander putting in about 20 hours a week unpaid.

When a democrat suffers, I rejoice. More please.

For some reason, this LA women cannot place two and two together. Keep voting for the Rats lady and your life will decline, especially when you are ruled by primitive savage cannibals like Karen Bass. /spit

Relaxing on weekends??!!! Only the politician class does that (and during the week at their so-called “jobs”)

I’ve worked two jobs for as long as I can remember. I’m 63 now and hubby is 56. We still work 7 days a week. We have a small HVAC biz and rental property. I recently semi retired from my 40+ hour a week office job in which I was on call weekends, holidays, etc. WHILE managing hub’s HVAC biz and the rentals.

Boo hoo! Someone break out the boo hoo girl .gif. Snowflakes!

Now is a perfect time to red pill the leftist youth on monetary policy.

It should be very easy to explain at this point that every dollar we spend on green energy or foreign assistance or mismanaged social programs is being printed out of thin air, decreasing the value of the dollars in their checking account.

The reason they need more dollars to survive is because the dollars are worth less than they used to be.

It’s simple enough that even a lefty could understand it if it is explained by the right person.

I wonder if she realizes that the feminist movement is the culprit for this. Probably not.

When many of the manufacturing jobs went offshore we were told how great that was for the consumer. They then offshored technology jobs and it was still a great thing. Now that it has trickled down to affect all of the useless degrees, it is a big problem.

the two-job phenomenon is as old america ... during settler times, couples both had to work dawn to dusk to keep body and soul together ... in more modern times, couples STILL both usually had to work at external jobs ... only the upper middle classes had the luxury of a single-earner in the family ...

The L.A.-based marketing consultant heard about one woman who took on a weekend waitressing job to supplement her corporate job income — which didn’t manage to cover her bills.

She must have slept through the basic econ and math classes... It's a pretty simple concept, if out > in, you need to make out smaller! Quite buying two super-soy latte frap caramel mocha things at Starbucks every day, find a roommate (or two or three), quit only eating out all the time. I bet she could easily cut her expenses in half if she tried!
