Jewish students in the Ivy League, I’m here to offer an invitation: Come to the South, where you’ll be safe.
It’s manifestly not safe to be an Ivy League Jew. A prominent Columbia rabbi “strongly” advised Jewish students to go home and not come back: It’s become clear “Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy,” Rabbi Elie Buechler told students this week over WhatsApp.
And no wonder. An anti-Israel protester near the Columbia campus yelled at counterprotesters holding Israeli flags, “Go back to Poland!” and “Go back to Belarus!” The marcher waved the Palestinian flag in their faces and said, “Get the hell out of here!”
“Columbia is basically now Hamas with a bad football program,” one wag tweeted.
If demonstrators were yelling at black students, “Go back to Africa,” President Biden would have given a national address, at least if his underlings were able to get his medications right. But as I write this, he hasn’t even tweeted.

Oh please the US is not Nazi Germany nor is it ever likely to become like it. Encouraging Jewish paranoia with nonsense like this is disgusting.
Here is your opportunity to do some serious "agitation and propaganda" to help people understand their situation in depth. Having seen the madness at Columbia up close, they will be receptive to modifying their worldview to accommodate the reality of evil from which they have just suffered.
And the $60K you pay for one year at Columbia will pay for four years plus at most Southern state universities.
Maybe you can convert a few?
As a UF graduate I would love to be a student again if pro-Hamas protests broke out I would love to be in the middle of counter protests and clash with these idiots
When I was there we marched down 13th Street during the Iranian hostage crisis with signs advocating the nuking of Iran
You’re right UF has numerous Jewish fraternities and other organizations that could crush large scale pro-Hamas protests at least when I was there
I’m curious if this is going to spread to non ivy league schools. Is it that ivy league schools have very small Jewish enrollment so they feel they can get away with this.
They try this at a State University of NY campus at say Albany, which has a large Jewish enrollment, I can’t believe there wouldn’t be significant pushback by Jewish students.
I went to school with a lot of Jewish people, most are pretty pro-Israel, but there are a few that I know of who usually side with the Palis.
The Jewish population was big at UF when I was there in the late 70s, in my fraternity we had 8-10 Jews out of maybe 110 people in the fraternity plus a bunch of others that have joined together in any counter protest
It’s spread to Florida and Texas, so it can be any school.
Columbia, for example, is over 20% Jewish undergrads.
Parents should have sent them to the Lone Soldier program in Israel before sending them to college.
Any Hamas sympathisers coming to Florida can be moved to the Everglades. Pythons and Gators can have a feast!
