Yep, I'm sure the Pentagon wants the entire US population to believe US air defense missiles don't work.
It's a great way to get public support for the military, .... and it's associated industries.

You never know if these reports are real or disinformation. Agreed. It's much better to blame the enemy instead of admitting the weapon system is flawed or hyped up past its capabilities.
